Right now I’m in Enontekiö, Lapland, and have a few moments before my next guests arrive. These past weeks have been so intense with lots of aurora tours, the Winter Extreme workshop and creating new tours. There is so much to tell and so many photos to share, but all in good time.

Here is a photo I took yesterday – hours after the sun disappeared. The sunset itself was very nice, but for me the real treat appeared much later. It was nearly dark, only at the horizon there was an orange-red glow; very intense. It sent the last daylight to the snow-covered trees and created a very special atmosphere. Walking with my snowshoes through the deep snow all by myself was wonderful.

The last daylight

Always remember to seek and enjoy nature’s beauty – it’s worth it!
